Traditional Feng Shui & Wealth ~ Health ~ Prosperity
Also known as "Xuan Kong or Flying Stars" method, Traditional Feng Shui is a complex mathematical system developed by Chinese scholars through observations accumulated over thousands of years. It is a method of harmonizing a man-made environment and the calculation of time and space. Traditional Feng Shui incorporates astronomy, geography, the environment, magnetic fields and physics. Contrary to popular belief, Feng Shui is not a religion or superstition and it exists whether we believe or not!
"Like all living things, the Earth itself has a pulse. It pulses with the sun rising and setting; it pulses with the seasons; it pulses with changes from year to year. What we are able to do now is actually monitor the Earth's pulse, the Earth's living characteristics!" ~ NASA
Each section of your home and office has the potential to enhance or sabotage your Health & Relationships and/or your Finances & Career because there are 2 inherent energies in every section of your house. At the time of construction, these energy patterns develop according to the precise magnetic orientation of the building. These energy patterns, just like your DNA, are not visible to the naked eye, nor are they detected intuitively, yet they are present from the moment the four walls and roof were completed. Traditional Feng Shui is not a one-size-fits-all evaluation, but rather a very detailed analysis that enables one to enhance health, prosperity and well being of each occupant, as well as identify and reduce sabotaging energies and harmful environmental influences.
Will I have to place unusual animal statues or symbols everywhere?
All remedies blend beautifully with the decor. That means no hanging crystals and no unusual animal statues or symbols. All remedies must be out in the open where the air currents can interact with them. No one will be able to distinguish your Feng Shui remedies from the rest of your accessories!
Will you lay a Baqua over my floor plan or hang a Bagua mirror over my door?
Hanging a Bagua mirror with the symbols of the 8 trigrams of the Yi Jing over your door or laying it over your building's floor plan was never its intended use. This simplified practice was popularized by western culture in the 1960's after the Chinese Revolution. A Bagua is like an ancient textbook that holds encoded information about universal energy patterns. It does not reveal the energy blueprint of buildings! Traditional Flying Stars Feng Shui recognizes that there are 217 types of buildings, each having their own unique energy patterns ~ patterns that will affect each occupant differently.
What is the best direction for my door?
In Traditional Feng Shui, there is not a one-size-fits-all best door direction or location like a few of the popular 'modernized' Feng Shui books would lead you to believe. From the moment of one's birth and depending on whether they're male or female, every person has their own unique way of being influenced by the magnetic pull of the Earth. This means that whatever may be beneficial to one person may not be beneficial to another! Traditional Feng Shui will reveal this supporting and/or sabotaging energy, allowing us to harmonize with appropriate remedies.
Will the blueprint energy of my house ever change?
All energy patterns are not only unique, but constantly in a state of change. Other than major renovations such as completely removing the roof so that the sun shines on the foundation for a specific period of time, what creates change in the blueprint of a house is the 'visiting' or Annual Feng Shui energy that interacts with the 2 inherent energies (Health & Relationships and Finances & Career) in each section of your home or office. Every year on the Chinese Solar New Year (February 4th or 5th), there is an Annual energy shift. This Annual energy shift explains why some years are better than others in the same building! One year the visiting Annual energy at your entrance could act as a remedy for the inherent energies and improve your circumstances for that year, but the following year, the visiting energy could act as a trigger to make a bad situation worse! A simple Annual update is required to ensure continued Feng Shui balance.
Do Wind Chimes or the color 'Red' play a part in Feng Shui?
Yes, they do. There are times when using metal wind chimes can be very UN-favorable, though. This is also especially true of the color Red. Red, representing 'Fire', strongly influences the 'unseen' energy patterns of a building and should always be used with caution. Fire colors often clash with certain energy patterns and can negatively affect health, relationships, finances and career. Again... no "one size fits all!"
