Will I be pressured into spending a lot of money on services, furniture, etc.?
Home Staging WORKS... and it's changing the way we sell real estate. As a highly trained Accredited Staging Professional (ASP), our mission is to transform a clients house into a "product" that appeals to more people, sells quickly and for top dollar! AND, we provide this transformation as economically as possible. We will do as much or as little as you want... you decide. We use the homeowners furniture and accessories by rearranging, redesigning and reinventing! The results are always amazing! Only when absolutely necessary do we recommend rental furniture or purchasing new accessories. For those on a budget or those who prefer to do the work themselves, a Consultation and Home Staging Plan will provide all the information needed to guide you in setting the Stage yourself!
What is the difference between an Accredited Staging Professional and an Interior Designer?
An ASP has been trained to turn your house into a "product" that sells quickly and for as much money as possible, NOT decorate your home to YOUR personal taste by spending money on new furnishings! An ASP has completely different goals in mind so the end result of how your property will be presented is vastly different!
Houses in my area sell very quickly. Would I still benefit from having my home Staged?
Yes... you may even benefit more! Home Staging makes your home even MORE desirable, attracting even more potential buyers.
WHEN should I Stage my home?
If you're planning to sell your home, NOW is the time to have it Staged! It can take several weekends for many homeowners to get their property in tip-top shape. However, If your house is already on the market and has had little or no interest from potential buyers, NOW is the time to have it Staged!
WHY should I Stage my home? It's been carefully maintained and decorated!
When your house is on the market, it is vital that it is appealing to a large audience. We don't want potential buyers concentrating on your personal style of decorating, which they may or may not like! We want them to concentrate on a spacious and well maintained home that they can see themselves living in! An ASP uses proven techniques to help your home sell more quickly and for more money, no matter what state the real estate market is in!
Is Staging really worth the investment?
Yes! Home Staging is an investment in what is probably your biggest asset. It's an investment in your home's equity. Showing a Staged home is much easier and less stressful for the homeowner and the Realtor! In addition, when it comes time to move, the organizing and packing have already begun so it is a much smoother process. Remember... the investment in Home Staging will always be considerably less than your first price reduction!
Why can't I just Stage my home myself?
There is certainly a lot of preparation that the homeowner can do to expedite the Staging process! An Accredited Staging Professional has the expertise, along with many tricks of the trade, to direct your limited amount of time and great amount of effort where it will yield the highest return. For individuals who prefer to do-it-yourself, a Home Staging Plan & Consultation will provide all the direction needed to accomplish these goals.
How will I be able to live in my Staged home while I'm trying to sell it?
We're almost certain that you will absolutely love your new living environment! We will take photos of the Staged rooms and leave them with you so that you have a quick and easy reference when it comes time to prepare for showings. You probably won't have to live for long in your Staged home, though! Staged homes typically sell quickly, but regardless of the amount of time, we will make your space very pleasant, livable and functional!
